Biography

Si Zi Jie

Born in 1956, a native of Shandong Province, he graduated from the Stage Designing Department of Central Institute of Drama in 1982. His works of painting were on display at China First Oil Painting Exhibition in 1987, and were on display several times at the painting exhibitions held by Beijing International Center of Arts during 1988~1991.

  He devoted himself to the arts of various schools of realism and impressionist, in which he followed after their harmony and integration. The portrait-paintings, nudes and landscape paintings he created in resent years were collected by the personages from USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The paintings “Song of Washing Clothes in Setting Sun” and “Pretty Village by River” were made bargains respectively at 1994 China Jadd Spring and Autumn Auction Fairs.
