Biography

Ma Yi Xing

   

 

Born in 1958 in Shandong Province, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. He held office in Hangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles in 1987. He is now member of Zhejiang Artists’ Association, member of Chinese Artists’ Association and vice-president of Youth Art Greation Society of Hangzhou Artists’ Association.

  In his art creative practice, he mixes the expression of beauty together with the thinking for society and life. Each of his paintings, from subject to technique and composition, all display his unique art pursuit, praising rhythm of life and magic of creation. Owing to his arduous efforts, his nearly 100 paintings were published in national or provincial newspapers and magazines. The publications include “Fine Arts”, “China Picture-Story”, “The Art of China Picture-story”, “Fu Chun River” and “The Public Arts”. His works of painting also took part in various exhibitions of China and the province.

  His representative works of oil painting include the series paintings such as “Boundary”, “Hippo” and “Moonlight” (picture-story), etc. His solo show was held in 1991 in Shanghai, and his works were exhibited many times in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
